White Wine

Urban Riesling, 750 ml, $13.00
2018. It has a complex, smoky, and floral nose, a juicy, fruity elegant mouthfeel, with a minerality that leaves a desire for the next sip. This wine reflects the traditional taste profile of top quality Mosel Riesling wine.

Arca Nova Vinho Verde 750 ml, $12.00
Dry white from Portugal 2018. Fruity and fresh. Clean and pleasant aroma add an interesting bouquet. Green apple is most evident. Soft minerality, very well balanced and medium structure.

LaPlaya Sauvignon Blanc 750 ml $11.00  CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK
Dry white from Curico Valley, Chile, 2019. Lemon in colour with hints of green, the nose is highly aromatic with strong notes of citrus fruits and flowers together with subtle yet pleasant touches of fresh grass and ripe pineapples. On the palate it is fresh and crisp with gooseberry, elderflower, and lime and a long pleasant finish.

Masianci Pinot Grigio, 750 ml $16.00
Veneto, Italy 2015. Shows attractive, tropical fruit aromas. Fresh and charming palate flavors gains weight and become full on mid-palate, where fruitiness blends with traces of honey. A dry finish has a citrus twist.

St. Francis Chardonnay, 750ml, $14.00
Sonoma County. Aromas and flavors of fresh melon, citrus, pineapple, and butterscotch lead off this medium-bodied Chardonnay followed by crisp acidity and a rich, lingering finish.

Product Casablanca Valley Chile. Created by fermenting red wine grapes without the skin, obtaining this way a pink colored wine with strawberries and black plum aromas that together with a fine balance of sugar and acidity, make it a very fresh and appealing wine.

Chile. Reveals a raspberry and white pepper-scented nose with a hint of oak medium-bodied and fruit packed character.

Waterbrook Merlot, 750ml $14.00
Medium bodied, with light tannins, the wine shows good acidity and lighter blackberry and chocolate covered black cherry flavors.

Wente Cabernet Sauvignon, 750ml $14.00
Welcomes you with aromatics of warm baking spices. On the palate this wine delivers ripe blackberry and fig with round, smooth tannins.

Product of Veneto, Italy. Offers lovely balance in a perfumed, crisp style defined by green apples, flowers and sweet spices. The finish is long and polished.

Allagash’s interpretations of a traditional Belgian wheat beer. Brewed with a generous portion of wheat and spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel, this beer is fruity, refreshing and slightly cloudy in appearance. Alcohol by volume (ABV): 5.10%

This brew is great for classic lager drinkers.Crisp, clean, and easy. Alcohol by volume (ABV): 4.9%

Dogfish 60 Minute IPA, 12 oz bottle $3.00
Brewed using a boatload of intense Northwest hops, boil this continually hopped IPA for a full 60 minutes, adding more than 60 hop additions to create a bold and timeless flavor. a pungently, citrusy, grassy hop flavor without being crushingly bitter. ABV:7.0%

Geary’s Session IPA, 12 oz bottle $2.00
A filtered, double-hopped English session IPA with English 2-row malt to balance its tropical citrus aroma. Double-hopping delivers a smooth and drinkable India Pale Ale. ABV: 4.9%

 Blueberry Lemonade, 12oz can $4.50
A sparkling cocktail made by blending Maine Craft Distilling’s Blueberry Moonshine with Maine Craft’s homemade Lemonade.  The Blueberry Moonshine is a wild blueberry liquor made from Maine barley with blueberry and Maine maple syrup added.  The blended cocktail is a touch sweet up front with the blueberry, but the tartness of the lemonade balances it beautifully. ABV:6.0%

Please note, due to the Maine State Law governing our Liquor License, the only alcoholic beverages that can be consumed in the public spaces of the inn are those purchased at the Hawthorn Inn. A violation of this law can cause the State of Maine to revoke our license.If you request wine when making your reservations; it will be waiting in your room upon your arrival. 

If you bring alcohol with you, please consume it in your room.  If your room is in the Carriage House you may also consume it on the room’s patio/deck.
